Dental X-rays

At Drummoyne Dental Care we insist on updating your dental check up Xrays every 2 years this is in accordance with the Australian Dental Association recommendation.  This ensures that no cavities go undetected as these Xrays allows the dentist to see in between the teeth, which is otherwise impossible to see in the mouth. 

We take digital X-rays at Drummoyne Dental care which have very minimal radiation levels, these images are stored into your patient file so we can refer back to the Xrays everytime you visit.  You may hear these images being referred to as "Bitewings".

Every 4 years we may require you to update your full mouth Xray called and OPG, this enables our dentist to look at all your teeth and jaws and examine wisdom teeth in more detail.

Please be assured because we keep up with the latest dental equiptement technology has to offer we use digital radiographic imaging units there is very minimal radiation.
